Description

Black powder. There are two variants: 110 ℃ below are tetragonal system structure, more than 110 ℃ for cubic crystal system structure. Density 6.749 ~ 6.84 g/cm3. Melting point 1113 ℃. Easy for nitric acid, aqua regia and strong antioxidant oxidation. The element selenium and copper direct response, or by carbon reduction methods such as selenium acid copper making.

USES

Copper Selenide for solar energy applications is a p-type or absorber layer material.Titan produces to many standard grades when applicable, including Mil Spec (military grade); ACS, Reagent and Technical Grade; Food, Agricultural and Pharmaceutical Grade; Optical Grade, USP and EP/BP (European Pharmacopoeia/British Pharmacopoeia)and follows applicable ASTMtesting standards.Typical and custom packagingis available. See safety data and research below and pricing/lead time above. CIS-based photovoltaic cells (PV Cells) for solar energy are fabricated from a positively charged or p-type Copper Indium Selenide (CIS) layer underneath a negatively charged or n-type layer. The p-type layer can be partially produced by thin film physical/chemical vapor deposition of a Copper Selenide Target sold under the AE Solar Energy group.   Most CIS-based PV solar cells are produced from single crystal of CIS however recent technology allows for thin film deposition of CIS using copper selenide sputtering targets.
