Zirconium
carbide is a refractory material with a hardness and excellent high temperature
refractory material. Used as a raw material of solid propellant rocket engine.
Used in the production of alloy steel. Also the production of zirconium metal
and zirconium tetrachloride, raw materials, and fine ceramic materials
promising. Mainly used as an abrasive raw materials, but also can be used as a
carbide.
