Apearances: The white crystalline powder. Stable in the air, showing acidic reaction. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in acetone.
USES
Preparation of buffers and media, production of phosphate, phosphor, wood, paper, fabric, flame retardants, dry powder extinguishing agent. Analytical standards for measuring nitrogen for Kjeldahl nitrogen determination.
