Dysprosium Iodideis insoluble in water, and is often used in the synthesis of fine chemicals, and as a heat and light stabilzer for nylon fabrics. Dysprosium Iodide is generally immediately available in most volumes. High purity, submicron and nanopowder forms may be considered.Iodide compounds are used in internal medicine.
